If there is a person unlucky in love, it has got to be Shahid Kapoor! He lost out on the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor to the uber-cool Saif Ali Khan. After dating and flirting (allegedly) with numerous women like Anushka Sharma, Sania Mirza and Vidya Balan, Shahid suddenly got lucky and started seeing Priyanka Chopra. The two met during the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ and instantly hit it off. This happened despite the two of them admitting on Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ couch that they didn’t really think of each other much before they actually started dating.
Shahid soon ran out of luck. He got possessive about Priyanka Chopra because of her growing friendship (read intimacy!) with the playboy of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir and Piggy Chops couldn’t set the screen on fire with their chemistry in ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ but they definitely got pally off-screen. Shahid’s nagging didn’t go down well with Priyanka. Skirmishes continued to happen before Priyanka took a flight to the US to boycott Shahid’s birthday party on Feb 25. The A-listers of B-town swooped down on his party but his lady love was prominently missing in action! That got the tongues wagging that the couple are definitely on the path of break-up. Again!
Now that Priyanka is back in town, Shahid is trying to woo her back with flowers and lovey-dovey text messages. His ‘I miss you’ and ‘Let’s make it work!’ messages are coming down on Priyanka’s cell phone like the tsunami. But Piggy Chops is in no mood to relent. A source close to the actress said that Priyanka is deeply hurt because she was walking that extra distance to make this relationship click. In the face of that, Shahid’s immature behavior has hit her hard. As of now, she is ignoring his phone calls and messages. Their common friends are trying to patch things up between them. Let’s hope for the best!
